Project Description

The project begins with the intention of creating an architectural intervention that exists in harmony with its natural surroundings. The site is envisioned as a place defined by the presence of blue waters, scenic views, fresh sea breezes, waterfalls, gardens, and other natural elements that contribute to a unique sense of place.

The proposal aims to introduce a new type of seaside resort that can serve as a model for the surrounding area while standing in clear contrast to conventional resorts. Rather than disrupting or destroying its context, the project seeks to understand and preserve the history and character of the region. Local architectural qualities are incorporated into the design, responding carefully to the existing topography and the irregular shape and constraints of the site.

As a seaside resort complex, particular attention is given to preserving unobstructed views, minimizing traffic noise, managing prevailing sea winds, and making efficient use of the site's narrow dimensions. The design therefore focuses on maximizing the functionality and efficiency of the available spaces while maintaining a strong relationship with the natural environment.

The program is organized around the idea of promoting and celebrating sea culture while providing appropriate recreational opportunities for both families and younger visitors. It is structured around three main themes:

1. Activity Spaces

Spaces dedicated to sports, physical activity, and training for different age groups. These include a basketball court, tennis court, and swimming pool.

2. Leisure Spaces

Areas designed to provide comfort, relaxation, and an escape from the pressures of urban life. Visitors can enjoy the surrounding scenery and unwind through facilities such as a cafeteria, bar, solarium, outdoor theater, and fishing deck.

3. Cultural and Ecological Spaces

Spaces intended to connect local residents and tourists with the cultural and natural identity of Enfeh. The project seeks to restore and enhance the area's ecological character through environmentally sensitive spaces, including an open-air ecological museum and a children's playground.

Through this combination of recreational, cultural, and ecological functions, the project aims to create a seaside destination that respects its environment, reflects the identity of Enfeh, and establishes a meaningful relationship between architecture, landscape, and the sea.
