Project Description

The construction of Mtein Technical School was commissioned by the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR). The project was executed between 2004 and 2007, with a total construction cost of USD 2,191,452.

The school is situated on a site extending over approximately 11,300 m². With a total built-up surface area of approximately 3,950 m², the project is organized into two main blocks, each serving distinct educational and support functions.

• Block A: Comprising two floors, this block accommodates the school's workshops, stores, and lockers, providing the necessary facilities for practical technical education.

• Block B: Comprising four floors, this block houses a comprehensive range of educational, administrative, recreational, and service facilities, including administrative facilities and offices, assistant's room, laboratories, covered playground, classrooms, supervisors' and teachers' rooms, technical rooms, computer room, library, sports storage, canteen, alumni room, archive, transformer, generator, and boiler facilities.

The organization of the two blocks allows the school's academic, practical, administrative, and support functions to operate within an integrated educational complex, with the facilities distributed according to their respective uses.
